Nourishing health professionals

Alan Heeks writes:

It’s been clear for several years that the pressures on people working in health care would keep growing past tolerability. Responding to this is a prime aim for Wisdom Tree, a small team I’ve gathered, offering resilience and wellbeing skills to ‘front line’ staff, especially in health and care provision.

Wisdom Tree combines well-known approaches such as mindfulness, with some distinctive processes, notably my ecosystem model of natural happiness. Many of our groups are at Hazel Hill Wood, which has proved a powerful support and catalyst.

We recently received grant funding for ten one-day events under the title Nourishing the Front Line. Six will be open events, four will be tailored days for specific organisations. All are free of charge. We’re starting with a Taster Day on Thursday June 19th.  For more details, or to book a place, go to www.wisdomtree.uk.net
