The Guardian recently reported a touching story about the Friendship Bench in Zimbabwe. At a minimal cost, it has helped thousands of people suffering mental health problems. It’s simply a wooden bench under a tree, with a ‘grandmother,’ who is a trained health worker, who sits, listens, and supports you.
